Thank an NS veteran in November
In November, our nation salutes the men and women of the United States Armed Forces past and present. On Nov. 11, Veterans Day, we celebrate their accomplishments and recognize their sacrifice for the safety and security of our nation. At Norfolk Southern, we extend that salute throughout the month.
Many members of our NS family have served this nation proudly. Their courage and sacrifice are admirable. Our nation, our company and our community are stronger because of their efforts.
The skills and expertise our veterans bring to NS add to our ability to serve our customers and to be the Thoroughbred of Transportation. They help strengthen our corporate foundation based on teamwork, safety and a drive to successfully meet any challenge. That foundation, coupled with our desire to be the best, has made this company strong and successful.
So we say "thank you" to members of our NS family who have served, or are serving, in our armed forces. We also are mindful of those called to active duty who are away from family and friends. Your sacrifice is not forgotten. You are in our hearts and minds, and we look forward to welcoming you home.
