I have been employed with Norfolk Southern since February 1990. My career began on the Piedmont Division as a brakeman, conductor and eventually an engineer. I was the first female train and engine employee on the Piedmont Division South End. I was promoted to management in March 1998 and transferred to my present assignment as a terminal trainmaster on the Georgia Division (Inman Yard) Atlanta , Ga.

I have been mobilized since May 2003. I serve as one of the logistics officers in the Plans, Operations and Force Projection Branch of the Logistics Division. We run a 24 hour/7 day operation to include all holidays. I'm responsible for supporting the chief of logistics operations center in coordinating and synchronizing logistical planning in support of the global war on terrorism. I assist in maintaining the combat readiness of over 750,000 active and reserve soldiers in the continental United States. I also monitor alerted and deploying force logistics and maintenance readiness.
