I am a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Army, entering military service in October 1962 and retiring in February 1984 as a master sergeant (E8). I was assigned to various locations within the U.S. as well as tours in Germany, Turkey and two tours in Vietnam. I joined Norfolk Southern in August 1984 and am currently serving as chief clerk Alabama Division CYO. I am the proud father of four daughters, one son and two grandchildren.
