Bobby G. Grider, machine operator, Decatur, Ill.
Josh J. Grider, welder helper, Bement, Ill.

The Engineering Department, Illinois Division, had a father and son serving together in Iraq.

Bobby G. Grider, machine operator, Decatur, Ill., has served 26 years with the Army National Guard. He served in Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and is a Crew Chief on Black Hawk choppers. His service has taken him to Iraq, Honduras, Iceland, Germany, Kuwait and Belgium.

Josh J. Grider, welder helper, Bement, Ill., has 5 years service in the Army National Guard. He has also served in Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Josh was also a Crew Chief on Black Hawk choppers.

Both Bobby and his son Josh served in Iraq at the same time, and at the same location for one year. During their tour, they were not allowed to go on missions together because of their father/son relationship.

Bobby and Josh advise they are both grateful for all the men and women who have served, and are still serving our country!
